1. About GredKu

GredKu ("the Service", "we", "us") is an academic GPA calculator and study planning tool for Malaysian university students, operated by CukruDev (cukrudev@gmail.com). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms in full. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use GredKu. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, we encourage you to obtain parental or guardian awareness before using the Service.

3. User Accounts

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate and up-to-date information when registering.
• You must not share your account with others or use another person's account without their permission.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable Malaysian or international law.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Service or its underlying systems.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute Service content, grading data, or functionality without prior written consent.
• Impersonate any person, institution, or entity.
• Deliberately interfere with the normal operation or availability of the Service.

5. Subscription & Payments

• GredKu offers free and paid tiers (Premium / Lifetime).
• Payments are processed securely through Stripe (international cards) or Billplz (FPX / Malaysian banking). GredKu does not store your card number or bank credentials.
• All prices are in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) unless stated otherwise.
• Active subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account settings.
• Refunds: Due to the digital nature of the Service, purchases are generally non-refundable once access has been granted. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us within 7 days at cukrudev@gmail.com. We will review each case fairly.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, branding, designs, and code within GredKu are the property of CukruDev. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent. University grading data included in the calculator is sourced from publicly available academic handbooks and remains the property of the respective institutions.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

GredKu is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. GPA calculations are for reference purposes only — always verify your academic standing with your university's official records and advisors. We are not responsible for academic, financial, or other decisions made based on results produced by this Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, CukruDev shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including but not limited to loss of data, academic outcomes, or any other results.

9. Amendments

We may update these Terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after changes are published constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

What We Collect

We do not collect identity card (IC/NRIC) numbers, passport details, full academic transcripts, phone numbers, or banking credentials.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and personalise your GredKu experience — GPA tracking, progress insights, and study planning.
• To send account-related emails such as password resets, subscription receipts, and important service notices.
• To analyse usage patterns, measure feature adoption, and fix issues.
• To investigate and respond to support requests or reported problems.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
We do not send promotional or marketing emails without your explicit consent.

Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secured server infrastructure. All communication between your device and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS (TLS). Passwords are hashed using bcrypt — we never store them in plain text.

We apply reasonable security measures including access controls and secure hosting practices. GredKu may be delivered via Cloudflare for performance and network-level protection. Our infrastructure may evolve as the Service grows, but our commitment to responsible data handling remains consistent.

No system can guarantee absolute security. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and to contact us immediately if you suspect any unauthorised activity on your account.

Your Rights & Account Deletion (PDPA 2010)

Under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010, you have the right to:

• Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Correction — ask us to update inaccurate or outdated information.
• Withdraw consent — stop us from processing your data at any time (note: this may limit your ability to use certain features of the Service).
• Account & data deletion — request that your account and associated personal data be deleted.

To exercise any of these rights, email cukrudev@gmail.com with the subject line "Data Request". We will acknowledge your request promptly and respond within 21 days.

After account deletion, we may retain anonymised or aggregated data (such as total feature usage counts) that cannot identify you individually.

Cookies & Tracking

GredKu uses cookies and similar technologies to maintain your login session, remember your preferences, and improve Service performance.

We may also use analytics tools — such as server-side logging or third-party analytics services — to understand how the Service is used, measure feature adoption, and identify areas for improvement.

GredKu may display advertisements or sponsored content to support the free tier. These may involve third-party analytics or advertising services that use cookies or similar tracking technologies. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings, though disabling cookies may affect login and core functionality.

Third-Party Services

GredKu integrates with the following third-party services. Each processes only the data required for their specific function. We do not share your personal data beyond what is strictly necessary for these integrations.

• Stripe — international card payment processing. Stripe handles all card data directly and securely. We receive only payment confirmation. Subject to Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Billplz — FPX and Malaysian online banking payments. Billplz handles bank transaction data directly. We receive only payment confirmation. Subject to Billplz's Privacy Policy.
• Google OAuth — account sign-in only. We receive your name and email from Google. We do not access your Google Drive, contacts, or any other Google services. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.

Changes to This Policy

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or an in-app notice. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Service after an update is published constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
